This policy explains what information CalcBasePro (“the site”, “we”) collects when you use calcbasepro.com, why it is collected, and the choices you have. The short version: calculator inputs stay in your browser, we do not ask you to create an account, and the data that is collected relates to analytics and advertising, both described below.

Calculator inputs

Values you type into a calculator are processed to produce your result and are not stored in any database, profiled, or linked to you. When a calculation is submitted without JavaScript, the values travel to the server with that single request, are used to render the result, and are discarded.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser user-agent, requested page, timestamp and referrer. These logs are used for security monitoring and debugging and are rotated on the hosting provider's normal schedule.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which calculators are used and how pages perform. GA4 sets cookies and collects usage data (pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device type). This data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individuals. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

CalcBasePro displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its certified third-party vendors use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, to measure ad performance, and to prevent fraud. Personalised advertising can be switched off in Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info. Cookies

The site itself sets only functional storage: your light/dark theme preference (kept in your browser's localStorage, never sent to us) and a short-lived session cookie on the contact page used purely for spam protection. Analytics and advertising cookies are set by Google as described above. Depending on your region, you may be shown a consent prompt before advertising cookies are used, and you can withdraw consent at any time through the same mechanism.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you provide are emailed to us so we can reply, along with the sending IP address for abuse prevention. They are used for no other purpose and are not added to any marketing list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing. Because the site holds almost no personal data itself, most such requests concern Google's analytics or advertising data — the opt-out links above are the fastest route. For anything else, email contact@calcbasepro.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

The site is a general-audience reference tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be noted on this page for at least 30 days.
